The Cloud Patrol
| I volunteered as the Features Editor of the Enlisted Times, an anti-military newspaper for the military, so I could stay in touch with the real world while I was writing The Point Man. Being the Features Editor consisted mostly of selecting existing comics and columns for inclusion, but after a while, I started up an original series with Steve Leialoha, who would later draw two issues of COYOTE.
Enlisted Times was a monthly, so this was a monthly strip, and after just three months, it ended. I suspect that was because ET didn't have the budget to pay Steve L. but I wouldn't swear to it now. |
